Debbie S conducted the final draw for the "Wine Survivor" fundraiser. Oh, the suspense!! There were 18 names left to draw from. She had all "survivors" that were in attendance stand up - then sit down as they were eliminated. In the end John won the 32 bottle first prize, and he also won "the pity bottle" as his was the first name to be eliminated. Guess our pity was misplaced!! John Kapp won the 16 bottle second place, Debbie M won the 11 bottle 3rd place, Larry won the single bottle 4th place! Big thanks to Debbie S for looking after this fun and very entertaining fund raising project!!
Bill gave us the background to the upcoming Dean Crane award and invited a name submission from everyone. If you have not yet submitted a name - do it now! Will hear more at the award presentation on Jan 10.

I’m looking forward to hosting you for our meeting at the Wilson School of Design, KPU, this Thursday morning. Breakfast is served, albeit not quite the spread we are used to, and coffee and tea will be on hand.
The meeting will start at 7:15 a.m. at 5600 Kwantlen Street – shiny new glass building compared to old campus. It is between Lansdowne and the Garden City Lands.
Parking is available – sad to say, pay (but cheap). You can risk parking in the Lansdowne parking lot for free but I can’t guarantee that they won’t bother you. Please enter the Northwest entrance (parking machine right there) – your greeter should be there. Just in case, take elevator, to the 4th floor.
