SPEAKER
Kathy introduced Nina Randhawa from Chimo. Nina won the Richmond Woman of Distinction Award last year.
Nina told us of all of the varied arms of Chimo (Inuit for "friend"). These include Nova Transition House, Crisis Lines, Outreach and Advocacy Service, Homeless Prevent Program and Pro Bono Law Clinics as well as various counseling and support groups. Funding comes from many sources including the Law Foundation, Coastal Health and donations.
Chimo is an invaluable service to Richmond for which we are all thankful.
Nina was thanked by Carolyn.
