This is the weekly bulletin for
The Richmond
Sunrise Rotary Club
for March 17, 2020

Last weeks meeting

Repeat from last week: President Sam led a short discussion about COVID-19 implications for our weekly meeting. Decision: Continue as normal...... Ok to replace handshake with elbow bumps or other greeting alternatives...

And this week from President Sam:

As I'm sure you've heard from the news and various businesses, COVID-19 is significantly affecting large gatherings of individuals, especially those that are in more vulnerable populations.

It is with this in mind that our board has decided to suspend our weekly meetings for a minimum of two weeks. We will not be meeting on March 19th or 26th at the River Rock due to concerns over mitigating the spread of COVID-19. During this time the board of Richmond Sunrise Rotary will discuss via teleconference (a) how to proceed with our Auction, which is scheduled for May 1st, and (b) how and when to proceed with our weekly meetings.

This is a concerning time for all and we as a board appreciate your cooperation with our decision for the following two weeks.

Please direct any questions to me or a board member of your choosing and we will discuss any and all questions or concerns during our board teleconference.

Stay safe and wash your hands,
