Last weeks meeting
President Larry announced Paul's passing on Tuesday June 11.... So sorry to hear this sad news.....
- Foundation chair Debbie M presented a PH pin to Kathy. Congratulations Kathy!
- Pat read out the names of those with perfect attendance...
- Sandra read out the names with long service awards - they ranged from 5 yrs to 32 years....
- The planned speaker Kate Varney from the Richmond Arts Strategy was unable to attend so Carolyn stepped in. Carolyn Introduced herself, she spoke about the importance of knowing how to do CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator). She then thanked herself (well not really but I could not resist writing that). President Larry presented her with the "coveted" Rotary pen.

- The news of Paul's passing dominated SAA time. It was amazing how many Rotarians knew Paul and Geri outside of Rotary and long before Paul joined our club in August 2014. He and Geri were obviously well known and respected members of the Richmond Community. Thanks to Belinda for sponsoring him to join our club back in 2014. In the 5 years with our club he served on the following committees - Auction, Local projects, International projects and the Speaker committee. He also served as the Chair - District Foundation Grants. All this while running his consulting business. RIP Paul Rollo
