Last weeks meeting
Belinda introduced our speaker Sarah Currie. Sarah is a Sustainability Consultant and works on "environmental sustainability" for the lower Mainland Health Authorities. She presented examples of areas within the complex health industry that are candidates for reducing environmental impact. Big job! She described how health authorities use green leaders as role models. The process draws ideas for improvement directly from the front lines. She said "Nature is but another name for health"....
Pat thanked Sarah for her presentation.
