SAA Peter decided on a random approach to selecting members to speak. He challenged host Sandra to follow him; whatever – somehow it worked with 23 attending.
Debbie S. was amazingly quiet…maybe she was aligning her bones? See later…….
Mary Lou was happy that visitations to Dad could now increase and also enjoyed a Sunday dinner party.
Christine M. was continuing her marathon walking – together with Yoga and Dance lessons – ‘Mouvement Perpetual’ seems to be the norm in her retirement life!
Garth has been powder (or was it power?) skiing.
Larry was feeling just great! Back at work but with a very heavy workload.
Dalbir recalled a visit to the Polish church downtown where the service lasted a full half day!
Margaret has had lots of dinners with her friends – nice to be back in person! But surprised that virtual walking is more than sitting and watching!
Danny has also been skiing and admiring the wonderful views he gets of the lower mainland from up there.
Bobby also had a family dinner - so nice to celebrate the Team Canada in person. (Ed. or is this Bobby G.? see note below).
Elena is doing her customary 10k steps, enjoyed a Lunar Year lunch with a Chinese friend and attended a virtual concert.
Debbie T. was missing the usual batch of Lunar New Year festivities – but did make the Richmond Multicultural one. Getting ready for the Coldest night of the year event – planning to talk about it at next weeks meeting.
Sandra had been exploring word puzzles.
Kal has been trying to persuade Lavina to allow him to buy a US$39k Superbowl ticket. Good luck with that, buddy!! Ed. Note Kal says Go Bengals (I say bet Rams)
Debbie M. Still very busy and challenging at work, but managed a Food Shuffle up Main Street. And upped her game to the 2nd Team in Abreast on a Boat this year!
Richard (aka Dick) has duly paid his SAA dues and duly shown his Green Vaccination pass for all to see!
Belinda recalled when she was a soccer coach (who knew??) while watching her grand daughter playing goal at soccer.
Caroline was ecstatic that the RI dues had now arrived from Evanston. We all will be equally delighted. She also has been reading e-books with glee. Such a happy lot, aren’t we?
Bobby is now back to his Wednesday night dinners with family. Do they have Butter Chicken Pizzas, I wonder? (Ed. I wonder too is this Bob or Bobby G?)
Michael has a quiet week, allowing time to take his Xmas lights down!
Am(n)anda had a great week including a scrumptious meal at the Westin Bayshore – well, it was her birthday week after all!
Susan paid a visit to us this week, but tended to crack up on-screen. So what she said was fascinating – but I’ve no idea what it was……

After that excitement, Debbie S. showed us just how our skeletal system was constructed – and it only took a few minutes! Wish all our sore backs etc. could be rectified so quickly and easily.
Ed. report. Sandy's cataract surgery went really well and her vision in the right eye is now 20/20 for distance and the film of yellow is now gone. Waiting to schedule left eye. While jogging (aka old man ambling) around Garden City Lands early Sunday morning a skunk crossed my path. It's tail was up with the rear end pointed in my direction, so I high tailed it so to speak. I still smell so sweat?(sp).
