Bobby watched a lot of sports this week with football and tennis, had a nice clean hair cut from his barber, I mean hairstylist. The difference is about $20!
Ron was full of apologies, particularly about sending Dalbir and Kal to Ferguson. Set up a new string of apologies by suggesting they visit the ghost towns of Granite, Coleman and Brooksmere which are all around the Princeton/Toulameen area.
Joyce has had a busy week with concerns over increases in Seniors with housing issues, waiting lists in every area with Chimo and a mental health tsunami. Front line services are facing a crises. The face of Richmond is changing. Enjoyed Bruno Restaurant and well worth it.
Peter painted his own powder room with a paint brush in his hand for the first time in 20 years and decided it would be the last. Commended the mechanics who are volunteering to start equipment and vehicles in the farms flooded in the Sumas Prairie.
Carolyn is still threatening to send invoices as soon as she receives the invoice from RI. Also if you haven't contributed your S at A donation please do so. Bob is on a 15 year plan to change and is searching for special martinis. Is there anything they don't put in Martinis now? Maybe just olives. James Bond and my parents, who were true martini drinkers are rolling in their graves.

Christine M. had her first golf lesson from Jennifer Wyatt who says Chris will be a great golfer. Jennifer was described as a fabulous teacher. Watch out Joyce and others - FORE! . With all of her walking she is thinking of hiking the El Camino. Her boots are made for walkin' and that's just what they'll do!👢
Sam reported some water damage from a leak - but that was nothing. So Moose apparently has a rash in his crotch(aka crotch rot). Sam got some ointment to treat the crotch that Moose found totally delectable. Not that dogs don't lick their crotches anyway - even without an incentive. Moose now wears the underpants in the family to protect his crotch and stop the licking of the ointment that is meant to stop the rot in the crotch.
Debbie S. is happy to be back in the gym.
Debbie M. wonders what babies must think when adults cheer on the fact that they have merely rolled over - by themselves. Wait till she has her first martini - recommended by Bob. It is all exciting. Checked out Luminaire - good food.
Sandra recommended "The Warsaw Orphan" as a good read about the saving of 7,500 Jewish orphans during the war. Based on a real life event. Also discovered the pattern for the S at A by asking Sam. Reverse order of joining.

Judy's 5 days in Palm Springs turned into almost a month because of a positive Covid test. Had a bit of a sore throat and survived 2.5 weeks with Chris Brodie - whom we all miss. Judy is heading back to Palm Springs at the end of this month. All of Spencer's family has covid and Spencer had pretty bad symptoms. Celebrating 28 years since Judy's brain surgery. 🥳
Debbie T. has organized the Coldest Night of the Year team and this year it will be virtual but maybe some in the club could still get together. Drew had some painful kidney stones once again until passed - the stones that is.

Kal now says a Niners - Chiefs Super bowl. We'll see. Had dinner with some Rotarians. Disclosed Ron's birthplace as bed rock city. One of BC's(as opposed to AD) ghost towns. Wilma Flintstone was the doula.
Dick hit the wrong mute button and expressed understandable concern about one of the protesting truckers suggesting we could have our own January 6th here in Canada. Really likes the recommendation for watching Yellowstone.
Dalbir commented on how packed the restaurants are and something about Martinis. Suggested that lock downs could be ended anytime now. Pointed out it was ex member and President, Alan Plausteiner's 70th birthday.
Marg has been staying up all night to watch tennis. Went to the Boundary Bay airport for breakfast and really enjoyed it. A nice high end diner and gave an open invitation to any Rotarian to join them for a meal. She is also back with in person church service.
Garth remembers the Americans creating a flood plan to Canada in the past. Noah told him about it! Or maybe it was Ron? Garth has been watching too much tennis but this has not interfered with him returning to golf.
Gordon survived Robbie Burns day but celebrated with what he described as 2 drams of scotch (but who's counting). Off to a District strategic planning meeting. He said something about using pink panties to calm the oversexed sheep problem. I've never found pink panties to be calming. But that's just me.
Bill driving out to Chilliwack and back to spend 30 minutes at his nieces wedding.
Pat has seen the ophthalmologist and her cataracts are too young for surgery and also was checked for glaucoma. Hopefully no news about that is good news.
