Last weeks meeting
 
Scheduled speaker Jacqueline Wong "life since Ryla", was unable to attend being "under the weather". President Larry announced that in the absence of a speaker members would be given more time for SAA fun. 
 
Visitors
Judy's husband Ralph, Rotarian Peter Mitchell (Steveston Rotary Club), Susan's friend Susan (didn't catch the last name). Youngest visitor was Kayla (Chris B 's grandaughter)

- Lots of travel stories this week. Places mentioned - Bellingham (Carolyn), Ottawa (Paul)(Belinda), Oliver (Judy), Vernon (Debbie M) Mt Washington (Belinda), Saltspring (Debbie M),  Tofino (Sam)(Paul), Whistler (Sandra), an Alaska cruise (Chris B)... Expect I missed some!!   
 
- Furthest trip was by Shaheen - back from 3 week vacation in France - reports wonderful (but hot) time. Fabulous french wine and food!
 
- Moves: Nicci to Mexico, Melinda to Tsawassen, Georgina to Victoria!
Should create more "what to do with old things" stories! 
 
- John recounted a dream (or was it a nightmare?), involved President Trump somehow. John admitted to watching too much CNN!

Kathy reminded us that dues and meal bills are out, if you did not get yours let Kathy know.
 
Gord helping out on Youth exchange - at YVR to greet incoming exchange student "Beatrice" from Milan going to Quesnel.
